Christopher James

Christopher James currently serves as the Head Football Coach at Myers Park High School while also holding the position of Dean Of Students since August 2019 within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In addition to these roles, Christopher has experience as a Principal Intern at Mint Hill Middle School, where responsibilities included conducting school-wide data analysis and assisting with student scheduling. As the President of the Grey Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Christopher advocates for education and professional development focused on technology and community unity. Previously, Christopher worked as a Business Education Teacher at Mint Hill Middle School and Porter Ridge High School, employing instructional methods and managing student-friendly classroom environments. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Queens University of Charlotte, an MBA from Gardner-Webb University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Gardner-Webb University.
