Crystal Hill, Ed.D., currently serves as the Superintendent of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, overseeing the 16th largest public school system in the United States, which serves over 141,000 students across 184 schools and is supported by nearly 20,000 employees. Prior to this role, Crystal served as Chief of Staff, Chief Academic Officer, and Assistant Superintendent for Cabarrus County Schools from August 2016 to May 2022. Crystal holds a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the same institution, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.
