David Lynn

David Lynn currently serves as Principal at South Academy of International Languages, part of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, which fosters a diverse and immersive language education for K–8 students. Prior to this role, David was the Director of International Studies at Charlotte Country Day School, where initiatives included curriculum development and global outreach spanning over 25 countries. Experience also includes teaching social studies at the American School of Paris, where David led student travel programs and served in various leadership roles, as well as creating experiential learning programs in previous educational roles. David holds a Ph.D. in Educational Research from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and advanced degrees in education from Harvard and the University of Richmond.
