Jordan Stanton

Jordan Stanton is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Assistant Principal and middle school science teacher for the CMS Horizons program at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since January 2014. With a focus on highly and profoundly gifted students, Jordan emphasizes extreme differentiation and acceleration in education. Prior experience includes the role of Dean of Students at Sullivan's Steakhouse and service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where contributions were recognized with multiple commendations related to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Jordan’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and advanced certifications in Academically or Intellectually Gifted education and School Executive Leadership from Queens University of Charlotte, along with National Board Certification in Special Education, Gifted Education.
