Michele Willis

Michele Willis is a seasoned educator and professional with extensive experience in both the educational and entertainment sectors. Currently serving as a Social Studies Teacher and Teacher Mentor at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools since 2001, Michele is a certified Social Studies Educator and School Administrator, providing targeted one-on-one and small group instruction. Prior experience at Cedar Fair Entertainment Company from 2006 to 2019 includes roles such as Maintenance Coordinator, Rides Area Supervisor, and Guest Service Area Supervisor at Carowinds, where responsibilities encompassed human resources support, operational oversight, and guest service management. Michele is presently pursuing a Doctor's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Gardner-Webb University, building on a Master’s Degree in School Administration and Educational Leadership, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Products Marketing with a minor in Business as well as an Associate’s Degree in Merchandise Marketing.
