Raymond J Giovanelli

Raymond J Giovanelli is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in school administration. Currently serving as Principal at Grand Oak Elementary School since March 2013, this new institution in Huntersville, North Carolina, aims to alleviate overcrowding at Torrence Creek Elementary, starting with approximately 650 students. Prior to this role, Giovanelli held positions as Principal at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools, including a notable tenure at JV Washam Elementary School from August 2006 to February 2013, where leadership was provided for a K-5 school serving 1,055 students. Giovanelli also served as Principal at Elizabeth Traditional Elementary School from November 2003 to June 2006, leading a prestigious magnet program.
