Sheena Miracle

Sheena Miracle currently serves as Principal at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since March 2020, following a tenure as Principal of Cabarrus Charter Academy at CSUSA from June 2018 to March 2020. Previously, from September 2015 to June 2018, Sheena held the position of Director of Advanced Studies/Talent Development/AVID within Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, and from July 2012 to September 2015, functioned as Compliance Coordinator for the CMS Talent Development/Advanced Studies/AVID programs. Sheena began her career in educational environments as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, first at Craven County Schools from August 2005 to June 2007 and then at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools from August 2007 to July 2012, including three years as a Gifted Teacher. Educational credentials include a Graduate Degree in Academically Gifted and Talented from Western Carolina University (2013-2015), a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Queens University of Charlotte (2001-2005), and further studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2007-2010).
