Sonya Evans-Laprade

Sonya Evans-LaPrade is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education and administrative support. Currently serving as a Secondary English Teacher and Head Softball Coach at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools since September 2015, Sonya focuses on preparing 12th-grade scholars for career and college readiness. Additionally, Sonya is the Founder of Aspiring Virtuous Women Inc., where responsibilities include class facilitation and hosting a radio talk show. Previous roles include Property Manager at Westminster Company, where outstanding REAC scores were achieved, and various administrative positions at Bank of America, Aegon Nederland, and USEC Inc., supporting senior executives and managing regional operations. Sonya holds an M.B.A. in Project Management, an Education Policy Analysis qualification, and a Bachelor’s in English Writing & Literature.
