Megan Wright

Megan Wright currently serves as the Head of Lower School at Charlotte Preparatory School, where responsibilities include teaching 1st and 3rd grades since August 2020. Prior to this role, Megan worked at The Town School from July 2011 to August 2020 as a Nursery 4 Co-Head Teacher. Additional teaching experience includes positions at American Youth Dance Theater as a Pre-Ballet and Hip Hop Teacher from October 2010 to June 2012, and as a Teacher and Art Instructor at Idlewild Elementary from August 2006 to June 2008. Complementing a diverse teaching background, Megan held the role of Assistant Store Manager at New York & Company from August 2008 to January 2011. Academically, Megan holds a Master of Science in Education specializing in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from Hunter College (2012-2014) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Ohio University (2002-2006).
