Laura White has a diverse range of work experience in the marketing and communications field. Laura started their career at Creative Consortium Ltd as an Account Executive from 2003 to 2006. Laura then moved on to the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority (CRVA), where they held various roles. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Marketing/Communications Coordinator, providing support in content generation and marketing collateral. Laura was then promoted to Marketing/Communications Manager from 2009 to 2012, where they took on the responsibility of writing and editing content for several publications produced by the organization. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Media Relations Manager, leading strategic media relations plans and supervising content creation. Laura'srole then evolved into Director of Communications from 2013 to 2019, where they managed and implemented public relations programs for CRVA-managed venues and Charlotte as a destination. Finally, they served as the Director of Brand Marketing from 2019 to 2022, overseeing the development and performance monitoring of brand marketing strategies. Laura was recently promoted to Senior Director of Brand Marketing & Strategy in December 2022, where they currently play a leading role in establishing and maximizing brand equity for the CRVA.
