Otavio Norberto

Otavio Norberto has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of soccer. Otavio began their career in 2004 as a soccer player for Associação Portuguesa de Desportos. Otavio then transitioned into coaching roles, starting as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for São Paulo Futebol Clube from 2010 to 2011. Otavio further developed their coaching skills as the Head Soccer Coach for Arkansas Comets from 2015 to 2016, where they led the team to success. Otavio then moved on to Ituano Futebol Clube as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Under 16 team from 2013 to 2014.

Continuing their coaching career, Otavio joined Sporting Arkansas as the Head Soccer Coach from 2017 to 2020, showcasing their leadership and tactical abilities. Otavio continued to contribute to youth soccer development as the Assistant Soccer Coach for Bentonville West Highschool from 2018 to 2020. Their passion for mentoring young players led him to become the Youth Academy Director at SPORTING ARKANSAS INC from 2020 to 2021.

Currently, Otavio Norberto is serving as the Pre-ECNL Head Coach at Charlotte Soccer Academy, starting in May 2022. Their diverse experiences in coaching and playing soccer have provided him with a vast knowledge of the sport and a strong understanding of player development.

Otavio Norberto has a diverse education history in the field of sports performance and physical education. Otavio obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education - Sports and Science from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM, where they studied from 2005 to 2008. Later, in 2010, they pursued post-graduation in Sports Performance at Unifesp - Universidade Federal de São Paulo for one year.

In addition to their formal education, Norberto has also obtained several certifications related to football scouting and performance analysis. These certifications include Technical Scouting in Football - Level 2, Opposition Analysis in Football - Level 1, Performance Analysis in Football - Level 1 and Level 2, Introduction in Football Scouting, Talent Identification in Football. Otavio acquired these certifications from the Professional Football Scouts Association (PFSA) between 2021 and 2022.

Furthermore, Norberto has participated in specialized courses and obtained certifications in various areas related to human movement and sports performance. These include Afferent Organization of Human Movement, Neurobiology and Sports Performance, Central Processing of Voluntary Movement, Efferent Organization of Human Movement, and Difficulty and Environment in Human Motor Function. These certifications were obtained from Barça Innovation Hub - Universitas between 2017 and 2018.

Lastly, Norberto possesses a "D License" certification accredited by the U.S. Soccer Federation, which they acquired in March 2017.
