Richard Riedl

Richard Riedl currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Development at the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra, a position held since September 2025, where responsibilities include achieving fundraising goals and managing a team of development professionals while fostering community relationships. Prior to this role, Richard worked as a Major Gifts Officer at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra from June 2021 to September 2025, focusing on aligning donor passions with organizational needs. Richard also served as the Manager of Governing Member Gifts and Operations Manager at the Abilene Philharmonic Association from July 2019 to June 2021, overseeing concert and event production and managing a production team. Richard began a career in the performing arts as an intern at Criterion OKC in early 2019. Richard earned a Bachelor of Music in Horn Performance, Music Industry, and Music Business from Oklahoma State University between 2014 and 2019.
