Harris Cohn has held a variety of roles in the energy and sustainability industries since 2006. In 2006, they were an intern at the Local Government Commission and the City of Sacramento, where they researched and cataloged best practices in energy efficiency and assisted in updating the Sustainability Master Plan. In 2007, they were a researcher at the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory and a Student Consulting Team Member at the Haas School of Business, where they advised Google.org on leveraging its products to better combat climate change. From 2008-2011, they worked at Pacific Gas & Electric, Obama for America, and Bloom Energy, respectively, in roles such as Strategic Renewable Investment Analyst, Field Organizer, and Enterprise Account Manager. From 2015-2021, they held various roles at Carbon Lighthouse, including Vice President Of Business Development, Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Sales, Director, Commerical Real Estate, Director, Business Development, and Executive Account Manager. Most recently, in 2022, they were a Sales employee at Charm Industrial.
Harris Cohn received a BS/Minor in Conservation and Resource Studies and Energy and Resources from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008. In 2010, they completed a Certificate in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from UC Berkeley Extension.
