Peter Reinhardt

Peter Reinhardt has an extensive work experience. In 2008, they worked as a Lab Assistant at MIT, where they worked on visualizations of gravitational waves, software analysis of rock samples, and mass balance measurements and hardware testing for project SPHEREs. In 2007, they worked as a Lab Assistant at the University of Washington, where they programmed significant upgrades to machine vision software used to track robotic fish. Peter also worked as an Intern at Blue Origin, where they built and tested electronic systems and a thermodynamic gas flow experiment. In 2009, they co-founded Iomys Labs, LLC and worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Bruxton, Corp. In 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Naval Postgraduate School. From 2011 to 2021, they served as the CEO & Co-founder of Segment, where they grew the company to over 600 people and several hundred million in revenue. In 2018, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Charm Industrial, where they developed bio-oil sequestration as a new form of carbon dioxide removal, and steam bio-oil reformation as a new pathway to decarbonize steel manufacturing. In 2021, they joined Arcadia as a Board Member, where they are supporting the scaling up of a transformative climate tech API company.

Peter Reinhardt attended Garfield High School from 2004 to 2008. Peter then attended the University of Washington from 2005 to 2008, studying Math and Physics. Finally, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a BS in Aerospace Engineering.
