Sherita Li

Sherita Li is a microbiologist currently employed at Charm Sciences, Inc. since August 2022. Prior to this role, Sherita served as both a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Cal Poly College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences from June 2019 to September 2022, where research focused on utilizing lytic bacteriophages as antimicrobials against Salmonella and E. coli O157:H7, as well as exploring organic acids in combating multi-drug-resistant pathogenic bacteria. Sherita's experience commenced at the same institution in June 2018 as a Lab Assistant at the Cal Poly Meat Processing Center. Sherita holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences and a Master of Science in Food Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed between 2016 and 2020.
