Faiz Bilal Espejo

Faiz Bilal-Espejo, PhD, serves as a Senior Scientist at CHARM Therapeutics since May 2023, leading drug discovery programs with a focus on oncology pipeline development and project management. Prior to this role, Faiz was a Postdoctoral Scientist at Servier from September 2020 to May 2023, where significant contributions were made in the development of small molecules for treating hard-to-treat malignancies, including the identification of novel oncology targets and management of clinical development processes. At the Vall d´Hebron Institute of Oncology, from 2014 to August 2020, Faiz held both postdoctoral and PhD researcher positions, enriching expertise in cancer cell biology. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Cancer Cell Biology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, complemented by a Licentiate degree in Biochemistry from Universidad de Córdoba.
