Oscar Fonseca

Oscar Fonseca has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Oscar began their career in 2000 as a Field Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where they provided 24/7 onsite-call support for Enterprise Global accounts over 4 Data Centers. Oscar then moved to Sierra Proto Express in 2003, where they worked as a System Administrator and was responsible for ensuring 24/7 99.9% up time operation on a global heterogeneous network environment. In 2005, they joined Clearcom.com as an IS Manager/Sales Engineering Support, providing global technical support for Sales and critical site problems. From 2011-2016, they worked at Cogent Communications as a Sales Engineer, designing WAN and Metro solutions. Oscar then moved to Global Cloud Xchange, where they worked as a Cloud Solution Architect, pre-sales and post-sales support, and identified new prospects. Currently, they are a Senior Technical Project Manager at Charm Health.

Oscar Fonseca's education history includes a B.S. in Information Systems from Colorado State University, obtained in 2010. Oscar also obtained an AAS from Sun Educational Campus in 1997 and an AAS in Computer Science from Heald Institute of Technology in 1995. In 2010, they completed Network Engineering and CCNA 3,4 Certification at Skyline College. Additionally, they obtained CCNA 1,2 at Skyline College in 2009. Oscar'sadditional certifications include AWS Fundamentals: Going Cloud Native from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2019, and CCNA.
