Rob Mitchell

Robert Mitchell is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in local government leadership. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Charnwood Borough Council since September 2019, Robert previously held the same title at Ashfield District Council from June 2015 to September 2019. Prior to this, Robert was the Director of Communities Planning and Partnerships at Tamworth Borough Council from May 2007 to March 2015, contributing to strategic vision and operational frameworks. Robert's earlier role as Business Development Manager at Priority Research involved providing consultancy services and developing marketing strategies. Academically, Robert holds a Master's degree in Criminology from the University of Leicester and a BA Hons in Geography from Northumbria University.
