Sarah Simpkins

Sarah Simpkins has over 25 years of work experience in human resources. Sarah'smost recent position was as the Human Resources Director at Charnwood Discovery, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Outsourced HR Account Director at The Ink Group from September 2017 to June 2021. Sarah also has experience in HR leadership roles, including Head of HR at Welcome Financial Services Ltd from July 2014 to December 2019 and Group HR Manager at The Oval Group from July 2005 to December 2010. Additionally, they held HR management positions at Polaroid and NDS Limited. Sarah Simpkins started their career as a Senior Personnel Officer at Uxbridge College and gained experience in training and personnel management. Sarah Simpkins obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English/Sociology from the University of Surrey, from 1990 to 1993. Sarah then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from the same institution, completing it in 1994. In 1996, Sarah attended Kingston University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Personnel Management. Additionally, Sarah holds several certifications, including an ILM Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and a Mental Health First Aid Champion certification, both obtained in 2019.
