Chris Torgerson

Chris Torgerson has extensive experience in engineering, currently serving as Systems Engineering Manager at Chart Industries, Inc. since June 2012. Torgerson has held various roles, including Project Engineering Lead and Project Engineer II, focusing on the design of cryogenic systems for diverse industries such as water treatment, liquid natural gas, and space, managing projects with budgets ranging from $100k to $2M. Prior to this, Torgerson was a Design Engineer II, specializing in ASME pressure vessels and LNG fueling systems, and also worked as a Design Engineer on LNG transport trailers. Earlier experience includes a role as Project Engineer at Polar Corporation, where structural design of tank trailers was the primary focus. Torgerson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
