Brian Lough

Brian Lough is an experienced telecommunications professional with a robust background in voice engineering operations. As the Sr. Director of Voice Engineering Operations at Charter Communications since July 2019, Brian oversees Voice Networks, Translations, Testing, Circuit Operations Planning, and Capacity. Previous roles include Director of Voice Engineering Operations at Charter Communications, where responsibilities included managing translations and the Network and Tools team. Prior to Charter, Brian held several key positions at Cox Communications from 2003 to November 2021, such as Director of Voice Engineering Design, Integration, and Planning, where Brian was in charge of VoIP infrastructure development. Additional roles at Cox included Sr. Manager of System Integration Design and VoIP Engineer, contributing to the deployment of VoIP solutions. Brian's earlier experience includes managerial roles at Tellabs and Nortel Networks, as well as various engineering positions at General DataComm, spanning a career that began in 1981.
