Olivia Shead has diverse work experience in various roles within the communications and media industry. Olivia most recently worked as a Communications and Content Manager at Charter Hall, where they developed and produced communications and brand content across internal and external channels. Prior to that, Olivia was a Senior Communications Officer at the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs, where they led the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies for government events and initiatives. Olivia also has experience as a Communications Manager at Food Ladder, a not-for-profit organization addressing food security, and as a Radio and TV Reporter/Producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and Sky News. Olivia has also worked as a Features Editor at Interiors Addict and Reno Addict, an online design and interiors publication. Additionally, they have held roles as a Marketing Assistant at The CEO Institute, a Reporter at 2ser, and as an Intern at Sunday Style and Southern Cross Austereo.
Olivia Shead completed their high school education at Redlands and obtained a High School Certificate in an unknown field of study. Olivia then attended the University of Technology Sydney from 2011 to 2014 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a specialization in Journalism. In 2014, they participated in an exchange program at Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen, where they continued their studies in Communication Journalism.
