William L. Miner is a seasoned Financial Services Professional with extensive experience spanning over four decades at Charter Oak Financial since September 1979. Prior to this role, William worked as a Cost Analyst at Hamilton Standard from 1970 to 1972. Educationally, William holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Bryant College, obtained between 1958 and 1962, and a diploma from Hitchcock Free Academy in Brimfield, MA, earned from 1948 to 1952, focusing on a college preparatory course.

The whole story began in 1886, when we occupied a single-room office in downtown Springfield and were known as “The Hartford-Springfield Agency.” Today, under the guidance of a multi-generational leadership team, we span five offices throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, with nearly 200 agents serving the individuals, families, businesses and large institutions we’re privileged to call clients.
