Melinda O'Connell

Melinda O'Connell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in procurement, vendor relations, and child nutrition management. Currently serving as the Director of Procurement and Vendor Relations and the Director of Food Service Contracts at Charter One since January 2023, Melinda previously worked as the Interim Child Nutrition Director/Consultant for AIKEN COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS and as the Director of Child Nutrition at Lexington School District Three. Melinda's career includes roles as Resident District Manager at Sodexo, Director of Operations at A'viands, and Director of School Marketing and Programs at the Oregon Dairy and Nutrition Council. Melinda also held the position of District Manager for K-12 School Nutrition at Sodexo. Melinda holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Marylhurst University and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Western Governors University.
