Altagracia Taveras, MS

Altagracia Taveras, MS has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2006, they began their career as an Accountant Assistant at Marlin K. Wiggins, where they worked until July 2007. Altagracia then joined RIU Hotels & Resorts in 2015, initially as a Staff Accountant and later as an Accounts Payable & Purchasing Specialist. During their time there, they were responsible for monitoring vendor accounts, managing invoices, collaborating with management on purchase orders and billing issues, and resolving discrepancies. In 2017, they joined the Fitzpatrick Hotel Group as a Senior Accountant, where they worked until April 2019. Most recently, they have been employed at Charter School Business Management Inc., initially as a Financial Controller and currently as a Senior Financial Controller, starting in April 2019.

Altagracia Taveras, MS obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting at Hunter College and completed their studies in 2020.
