Iris grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and went to undergrad at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design University. She then moved to Los Angeles to work on publishing projects. It was in L.A. that she decided to pursue a legal career and attended a Paralegal training program through UCLA extension. After five years of working in civil rights litigation, Iris pivoted into a more collaborative area of law—which brought her to CSC’s legal department, where she supports the effort of getting schools the resources they need to thrive.
In her free time, Iris can be found reading, playing music and tennis, following women’s soccer, and adventuring around the PNW with her dog.
