Donique Muhammad has a diverse work experience spanning different leadership positions in various organizations. Their most recent role is as Vice President, Seed at Charter School Growth Fund since March 2023. Prior to that, they were a Member at Chief, a private network focused on empowering women leaders, from March 2022 to March 2023. Donique also served as Senior Vice President, Outreach at Waterford.org from December 2021 to February 2023. From July 2020 to December 2021, they held the position of Managing Director, Antiracism and Equity at Instruction Partners, and from February 2019 to July 2020, they were the Managing Director, Professional Development at the same organization. Before that, they held the position of Director, School and System Leadership at Teach For America from June 2017 to February 2019. Donique's earlier roles include SASS Coordinator at Busan Foreign School in 2016, Director of Schools Support at Latin Schools of Fulton County from June 2015 to March 2016, and various roles at Freedom Preparatory Academy Charter Schools, including Founding Head of Elementary School, Dean of Students, and Founding Director of Student Support, from July 2009 to June 2015. Donique initially started their career as a Corps Member at Teach For America from August 2006 to May 2008.
Donique Muhammad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Mississippi between 2001 and 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching at The University of Memphis.
