Michelle Prosperi

Michelle (Liberati) Prosperi has a diverse work experience spanning over two companies. Michelle worked at the Charter Schools Development Corporation from 1998 to 2020, starting as an Executive Vice President and later becoming the Chief Operating Officer in 2020. In their roles, they were responsible for managing overall operations, implementing strategies and business plans, identifying funding sources, managing assets and personnel, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Michelle also served as a liaison between board members and the leadership team. Additionally, Michelle managed large federal grants, fostered relationships with philanthropic partners, developed marketing and communication strategies, oversaw HR functions, analyzed organizational performance, and developed financing programs for public charter schools. Notably, they successfully managed the deployment and compliance of $71.6 million in federal grants and launched a new lending program in 2010. Prior to this, Michelle worked as a Program Supervisor at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars from 1997 to 1998, where they oversaw academic seminars and coordinated logistics for college women.

Michelle (Liberati) Prosperi completed their Bachelor's degree in Philosophy at Tulane University from 1990 to 1994. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Education Policy at The George Washington University from 1994 to 1996.
