Mike Sauer is an accomplished Project Manager and Electrical Engineer at Charter Steel, with a tenure beginning in August 1991. In this role, Mike oversees projects from conception to start-up, ensuring the integrity of power systems totaling 80MW in the meltshop. Previously, Mike managed a 23-person multi-craft maintenance department with a $5 million budget to support continuous production. Earlier experience includes roles as an Electrical Engineer and Product Manager at Broan-NuTone LLC, responsible for product design coordination and agency approvals, and as Supervisor of Electronic Design at Oster, where Mike managed electronic control designs for kitchen appliances. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Control Systems and Business from Michigan Technological University, and graduated from Port Washington High School.
