Michael Siegrist

Michael Siegrist currently serves as the Clerk for the Charter Township of Canton, where responsibilities include overseeing records, elections, and compliance with open meetings requirements since November 2016. Prior experience includes a role as a Board of Education Member for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, where Michael served on the Finance subcommittee and chaired the Bond Oversight Subcommittee from November 2014 to November 2016. Previous positions also encompass work as an Accountant at Siegrist & Siegrist, CPA, focusing on tax planning and return preparation from January 2012 to November 2016, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Canton Public Library, where Michael acted as Chair from 2011 to 2012. An internship with Representative John D. Dingell took place in early 2007. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Michigan and a Master's degree in Taxation from Walsh College.
