Lizzy Schultz

Lizzy Schultz is an experienced Nature Center Supervisor at the Charter Township of Shelby since August 2021, where responsibilities include developing capital improvement projects, creating educational exhibits, and managing environmental education programs. Prior to this role, Lizzy served as Director of Community Engagement & Programs at Howell Nature Center, overseeing various programs and coaching staff. A progressive career at Howell also included positions such as Community Engagement & Programs Manager and Community Engagement Coordinator, focusing on curriculum development and community partnerships. Earlier experiences encompass roles such as Zoo Communications Supervisor at Children's Zoo at Celebration Square, where Lizzy managed communications and developed educational programs, and Projects and Education Director for Engineers for a Sustainable World. Lizzy holds a Master of Arts in Teaching Biological Sciences from Miami University and a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University.
