Joanna Grygolunas is an experienced legal professional and educator, currently serving in the Legal Affairs Office of the International Maritime Organization since August 2018. Responsibilities include preparing and editing UN documents, drafting legal correspondence, and assisting delegates for various legal committees and diplomatic conferences. Joanna's career also encompasses roles such as editorial assistant and translator, specializing in the translation of documents from Russian and French into English. In addition, Joanna has served as a certified translator and editor for the Chartered Institute of Linguists, a professor of English at Burgundy School of Business, and a business English trainer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from Durham University and a Master of Arts in Translation Theory and Practice from UCL.
