Mayella Almazan-Arreola

Mayella Almazan-Arreola, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in linguistics and education. As the Founder of Yo Soy Gaia since January 2012, Mayella has been instrumental in providing various language services. In addition, Mayella serves as an Assessor at The Chartered Institute of Linguists since June 2008. Previous roles include Lecturer positions at Queen's University Belfast from October 2008 to May 2015 and the University of Ulster from August 2008 to June 2011, where Mayella specialized in e-learning, translation, and language technologies. Mayella holds a PhD in Psycholinguistics and Neurolinguistics from the University of Essex and a Master's degree in Linguistics from UCL.
