Steve Wong

Steve Wong is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at CPA Ontario since September 2020. With a strong background in information technology, Steve has held significant roles such as the Chief Information Officer at Gartner and Ambassador for the Gartner Peer Community. Prior experience includes leading the Intelligent Automation and RPA practice at Accenture and serving as Sr. Director/Chief Architect at BMC Software, where Steve directed large teams and developed innovative SaaS platforms. As co-founder and Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Viadyne Corporation, Steve played a critical role in the company's growth and subsequent acquisition by BMC Software. Steve began their career with positions at Opcom/GE Capital IT Solutions and EDS, following the completion of a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McMaster University.
