Rhett Smith has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. Rhett started as Floor Staff at Regal Cinemas, then moved on to Server at Fat Crab in 2016. In 2017, they began work as a Producer at Indoor Kites, Event Staff at the University of Georgia - Tate Student Center, and Stage Hand at UGA Performing Arts Center. In 2018, they took on a Contributor role at The Red & Black Publishing Co. In 2020, they became Lead Customer Experience Consultant at CarMax. Since 2022, they have been working as a Sales Development Representative at ScaleUpOnDemand and Valid8 Financial, and as a Customer Success Account Manager at CharterUP.

Rhett Smith attended Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Rhett also earned a Minor in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from the University of Georgia's Franklin College of Arts and Sciences during the same time period.
