Gord Neely

Gord Neely has extensive experience in real estate investments, currently serving as Vice President of Real Estate Investments at Chartwell Retirement Residences since June 2016, where responsibilities include acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, and commercial leasing. Prior to this role, Gord held positions such as Director of Acquisitions at Institutional Mortgage Capital and Senior Underwriter, focusing on CMBS and bridge loans. Earlier experience includes being a Senior Asset Manager and Deal Leader at GE Capital, overseeing commercial real estate loans, as well as contributing to a start-up team at Credit Suisse First Boston as Vice President of Originations. Additionally, Gord has managed distressed commercial mortgage portfolios at AMRESCO and worked on non-performing commercial mortgage loan workouts at Royal Trust. Gord Neely holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Brock University, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
