Mike Thar

Mike Thar is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive management experience in various culinary and dining environments. They earned a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of Kentucky between 1993 and 1997. Over the years, Mike has held significant roles, including Kitchen Manager at Deshas Restaurant and Bar, Manager at Hooters of America, and most recently, Director of Operations at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services since 2025. Additionally, they served as Area General Manager for Millstone Pizza & Taphouse and McHales Irish Pub and managed dining services at Aramark and Smoke on the Water.
