Osas Itua is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in strategic management and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Managing Director at Chase MFB since November 2024, Osas leads the bank’s strategic direction and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Prior to this role, Osas worked as the Portfolio Optimization Manager at Optasia from July 2022 to November 2024, optimizing performance metrics and offering strategic analysis to enhance market share. Osas's career began at AB Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited in 2010, progressing through various roles, including Head of Micro Lending, where Osas contributed to senior management decisions and reported on financial indicators. Additionally, Osas has a background in credit consulting from AB Bank Rwanda. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Business Administration focused on Human Resources Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Ambrose Alli University.
