Joel Fontenot

Joel Fontenot is an experienced architect currently serving at CHASM Architecture, LLC since February 2021. Prior to this role, Joel accumulated over two decades of experience at Grace Hebert Curtis Architects from October 1998 to February 2021. Earlier positions include architectural intern roles at The Architecture Group in Baton Rouge (1994-1998) and Douglas Ashe and Associates (1993-1994), as well as an architect in training at the Office of Facility Development at Louisiana State University (1988-1993). Joel began the journey in architecture as a student intern at Herschel Hoffpauir and Associates, Architects from September 1985 to November 1988. Joel holds a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree from Louisiana State University, earned between 1983 and 1989.
