Calvin Ling currently serves as an Associate Data Engineer in the Data Science, Analytics and Engineering Unit at Bank Negara Malaysia, having previously held roles as a Digital Graduate Analyst in both the Solution Development and Architecture Unit and the Technology Risk Supervision Unit. Concurrently, Calvin is a Graduate Research Assistant at Universiti Sains Malaysia, focusing on research related to void formation in flip-chip ball grid arrays and developing an image segmentation model with 96% accuracy. Additional contributions include the development of PENFLOW for predicting vortex formation in dam systems and leading a team to create a POC oxygen tank timer monitor system. Prior experience includes work as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at Hyirox Sdn Bhd, where Calvin developed a proof-of-concept hydrogen inhaler and improved a hydrogen therapy machine's design.
