Tonia Howard-Hall

Dr. Howard-Hall is a native of Savannah and a product of the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System graduating from Tompkins High School. She is a retired educator of 32 years and worked as a classroom teacher, District REP (Remedial Education Program) Lead Math Teacher, District Parent Liaison, and Central Office Administrator.

Dr. Howard-Hall has a passion for education and her top priority is to ensure that all students are college and career ready. She brings over three decades of teaching experience, school and district budgeting, knowledge of school improvement initiatives, and a track record of working with students, parents, teachers, and school administrators to promote success.

Dr. Howard-Hall’s Leadership Experience includes Facilitation of school improvement initiatives; Provided professional development to teachers, school administrators, and parents; Extensive experience with state and federal audits; Revised and approved school improvement plans for public, charter, and private schools; Assisted with preparing budgets for a combined 18 million dollars in federal funds; Written and revised district policies for implementing federal mandates, and Experience with curriculum and grant writing.
