Dwayne Dawson

Driver Operator at Chatham Emergency Services

Dwayne Dawson has extensive experience in emergency services and technology, currently serving as a Driver Operator at Chatham Emergency Services since May 2018, providing fire suppression and emergency medical care while conducting annual pre-plan inspections for local businesses. Prior to this, Dwayne worked as a Fire Engineer with Bryan County Fire/Emergency Services from January 2009 to July 2017, where responsibilities included communicating with officers and responding to emergency incidents. Dwayne also has a background in information technology, having served as a Network Administrator for the 165th Airlift Wing in the Georgia ANG from April 2013 to April 2017, focusing on network design, installation, and security. Earlier military experience includes working as a Dental Assistant in the United States Army Reserve from December 2006 to February 2011. Educational pursuits include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences and Cyber Security from Columbia Southern University, expected in December 2024, and a Certificate in Network and System Administration from Virginia College.
