P.eng. Rob Bernardi

Rob Bernardi, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rob started their career as a Construction Inspector at the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in 1995. Rob then moved on to Eastern Construction Company Limited, where they worked as an Assistant Superintendent from 1996 to 1998. Following that, they joined International Trucks as a Maintenance Supervisor from 1998 to 2000. Rob then worked at Union Gas as a Team Leader in the Meter Shop Services in 2000. Since 2001, Rob has been with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, where they held multiple roles. Rob started as the Manager of Facilities & Systems in the Water & Wastewater Services department and progressed to become the Director of Engineering & Compliance, overseeing various areas such as Asset Management, SCADA, Compliance, and Quality Management Systems.

Rob Bernardi, P.Eng. completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo in the years 1990 to 1995. Rob has also obtained additional certifications including the Water Leadership Institute from the Water Environment Federation in 2015 and the Executive Diploma in Municipal Management from AMCTO in 2014.
