Michael Cox

Michael Cox currently serves as a Clinical Physician Assistant at Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Michael gained extensive experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant at OrthoGA from September 2011 to December 2022, where responsibilities included assisting in surgeries, evaluating and diagnosing patients in a clinical setting, performing joint injections and aspirations, and educating patients. Earlier career experience included a role as a Nuclear Chemist at Southern Company from June 2007 to April 2010, focusing on environmental sample collection and analysis. Michael holds a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia College & State University.
