Chatsie was founded by George Bevis, after watching his mother struggle to use an iPhone. He realised, that as the world becomes more and more digital, older people are simply being left behind. They long to stay connected to their loved ones, but the prospect of learning how to use new technology is so daunting, it stops them from doing so. 

This “digital divide” has serious consequences for our society. If we do nothing, then older people will lose their independence faster, and their happiness will also rapidly decline. Ironically, technology is the solution to this problem! 

That’s why we built Chatsie. Chatsie is on a mission to make sure that older people aren’t left behind. We want to see a world where they remain connected, engaged, and included in modern society.
