Rick Hirsekorn is an experienced project manager and executive with a robust history in leadership roles within the engineering and environmental sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager for the Capital Campaign Construction Program at Chattahoochee Nature Center, Inc. since November 2020, Rick previously held the position of Vice President at Jacobs from November 2018 to November 2020, at Brown and Caldwell from November 2016 to November 2018, and at CH2M HILL for over four decades from September 1974 to November 2016. Rick holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering, respectively, from the University of Kansas - School of Engineering.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center's (CNC) mission is to connect people with nature. Being outdoors is more important than ever to our communities' health and well-being. At CNC, visitors of all ages have 127-acres to safely explore and endless opportunities to connect with nature while learning about Georgia's ecosystem. CNC features three ponds, six woodland and wetland trails, including a newly renovated 2,000-foot river boardwalk. We offer a space for quiet, reflective moments, or more active options such as hiking, ziplining, or canoeing. CNC also offers programs involving rehabilitated native wildlife, horticulture, photography, art, and more.
