Tim Kelly

Co-Founder, Chairman Emeritus at Chattanooga Football Club

Tim Kelly has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Tim is currently the Mayor of Chattanooga, a position they have held since April 2021. In 2016, they co-founded SocialBot, LLC and continues to be involved in the company. Tim also co-founded and served as the Chairman Emeritus of Chattanooga Football Club since 2009. Prior to these ventures, they owned and transformed Southern Honda Powersports into the largest dealership of its kind in the United States, achieving significant sales growth. Tim also served as the owner of Kellycars, where they led the company through acquisitions and maintained strategic goals. Tim was also a co-owner of Chattanooga Brewing Company, contributing to its turnaround and financial health. Additionally, Tim co-founded Zipflip and served as the Co-Founder. Tim was the Dealer Principal for Kelly Subaru, growing its market share and pioneering marketing approaches. Tim also had a brief stint as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and was the CEO and Chairman of Carclips.

Tim Kelly obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Literature and German from Columbia University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. Tim later pursued an MBA at Emory University - Goizueta Business School, specializing in General Management, from 2010 to 2012.
