Emily Olcott

Emily Olcott is currently an entertainer at Actors' Equity Association and a resident teaching artist at Chautauqua Institution, where Emily teaches playwriting to children ages 7-11 in the Jamestown, NY area. Emily also serves as the director at Story Pirates since October 2015, overseeing the staging of the 2022-2023 National Tour. Furthermore, Emily has worked as a resident artist at Ars Nova, where Emily developed an original solo show focusing on the healing process and utilized audience improv and interaction. Emily holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Northwestern University and completed the BetterUp Coaching Foundations program in June 2023.
