Mahayla Laurence is a Program Co-Director at Ars Nova Theater, Fellowship Facilitator at More Art, Director & Producer at Lack History, Director of Operations at Claim Our Space NOW, and Teaching Artist at Chautauqua Institution. Additionally, Mahayla is a Staff Writer at Story Pirates and an Actor under SAG-AFTRA. They also work as a Teaching Artist at Broadway Bound Kids, Program Staff at Street Lab, and as a Breathwork Practitioner in their independent practice. Mahayla holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drama from New York University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Shakespeare in Performance from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
