Shonta Hunt

Shonta Hunt, MBA, has a diverse work experience spanning from 1999 to 2017. Shonta started their career at Hub Group, Inc as a Customer Service Representative, where they managed logistics and transportation projects and successfully developed International Paper into the company's largest account. Shonta then moved on to work at Integra Logistics as a Customer Service Representative, where they continued to manage logistics and transportation projects and successfully sourced intermodal equipment and carrier services.

In 2007, Shonta joined Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare as a Contract Management Analyst, where they managed the contract management process for the entire healthcare system and collaborated with various departments to develop strategic purchasing decisions. Shonta then transitioned to Jabil Circuit as a Buyer/Planner, sourcing electronics material and optimizing inventory turns to meet forecasted demand.

In 2012, Shonta joined UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas as a Financial Analyst, Value Analysis, where they managed the procurement of clinical and non-clinical products and services. Shonta led contract negotiations, provided financial analysis, and contributed to cost-saving initiatives.

Most recently, Shonta worked at Community Hospital Corporation as a Corporate Supply Chain Manager and later as the Corporate Director of Supply Chain Analytics. In these roles, they implemented and managed cost-saving initiatives, managed GPO contracts, and transformed data into business intelligence resources.

Throughout their career, Shonta's expertise in supply chain management, analytics, and contract negotiation has been evident. Their work experience demonstrates their ability to effectively manage projects, optimize resources, and contribute to cost savings.

Shonta Hunt, MBA completed their Master's degree in Business Administration from Webster University between 2003 and 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from Murray State University from 1994 to 1999. In January 2017, they also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Aveta Business Institute.
